A new animation & motion graphics studio in Manchester

As a freelance motion designer I get to work on a whole host of projects. It really is a mix of direct to client projects and working third-party for agencies to help out with their motion design workloads.

I love both kinds of work equally, but as a freelancer it’s often hard to go up against agencies to pitch for direct to client animation work.

So I’ve decided to start Action: an animation & motion graphics studio in Manchester. I’ve only just launched the site so it’s all pretty new but I’m excited to make the launch a reality.

I’ll still be available for all my usual freelance work, this doesn’t change that, this is more about having a separate place for all my direct to client animation and motion design work.

Rewilding the planet with freelance animation and motion design

We've only got one planet, and right now it needs all the help it can get. Climate change and biodiversity loss are massive challenges that we need to tackle head on.

That's why, for every freelance animation project over £1000 a donation of 1% of the total budget will be made to the World Land Trust, on your behalf.

The money will go towards WLT's "buy an acre" programme; buying up and protecting vital habitats around the world, and helping fight against climate change.

Any motion design projects under £1000 will have a tree planted on your behalf.
